The regional volume and area evolution of each run.
Only the glaciers which are valid in all the runs are summed (see
PreproRun.population()), so that the runs can be compared.Because the spinup period can differ from glacier to glacier, valid glaciers do not all start in the same year. The n_glaciers column tells how many glaciers each year is made of, and is_common_period flags the years for which all of them have data - the only ones which should be plotted or interpreted.

- a DataFrame in long format (one row per year, region and run).
